ICYMI: Social Media Minute | Post All-Star Break

I’ve definitely been slacking on posting social media minutes – I went to the All-Star Game in San Diego but have also been burnt out from watching loss-after-loss with the Giants downward spiral.

That being said, some truly wonderful things have happened on social media despite the free-fall and I think it’s important I bring them to your attention:

Starting with my favorite thing so far:

• Leslie Jones is in love with Mac Williamson: Leslie Jones of Ghosbusters and SNL fame, has taken a shine to our very own rookie outfielder, Mac Williamson. Jones is notoriously vocal on Twitter (if you haven’t seen her Game of Thrones live tweets, man, are you missing out) but she happened upon the Giants/Yankees game last weekend and was head-over-heels for Mac. Here’s a quick sampling of her commentary:

I love baseball now it’s awesome. Ok in love with the catcher McCann and DiDi Gregorious OMG so fine and yes #51 on the sf Giants Mac! Lol

•  Braxton Crawford + Lara Pagan: The Crawfords have forged another baby love connection (this one featuring their daughter and Brandon Belt’s son Grayson is in the works already). This blooming relationship features deadly dimples from Lara and round chub-cheeks from Braxton.

• Jarrett Parker and Trevor Brown murder a lobster: Before the Giants got pummeled at Fenway, the Giants had a rare off-day in Boston. Brown and Parker decided to hit up a lobster joint and look at their food, face-to-face.

I promise to me more consistent than the Giants bullpen when it comes to posting these in the future. Here’s to maybe winning one game this weekend?  #Standards.
